Mark is the Principal Visual Scientific Communications Specialist at artsci studios.
With two Master of Science degrees, his work and experience as a researcher has led him to champion the values of visual storytelling when communicating complex and sophisticated ideas, especially in science.
Mark is currently based in Toronto, Canada
Artistically speaking, Mark's skillset in illustration is entirely self-taught. Since childhood, drawing and creative expression have been at the forefront of his personality. His career has seen him branch into 3D work and animation, while continuing to hone his craft in digital and traditional illustration.
Mark is also the Founder of artsci studios, and—since 2015—continues to manifest his vision of populating academic discourse and science education with visual media.
