In December 2017, I gave a "Lightning Talk" at the SciVizNYC Conference about "Scientific Storytelling". I introduced comics and sequential art as an educational tool, and showed off the production of my original comic "Finding the Footprints of Life", based on my time with the Pavilion Lake Research Project and NASA AMES.

Check out the recorded video above, and let me know what you think! It was a fun new experience for me! Check out my comic: Finding the Footprints of Life

Last night, I was happy to present my Master's Research Project, transPLANTS: An Animated Guide to Renal Transplantation at the CST Meeting 2017 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

I presented on behalf of my colleagues Dr. Christine Ribic, Dr. Azim Gangji, and Dr. Darin Treleaven from St. Joseph's Hamilton Healthcare to a number of professionals in transplantation and transplant healthcare. It was a really exciting and fun night!

I am so happy to also announce that we received additional funding support for our project, and will be developing additional animation modules for transplant education and transplant centres across Canada.

Big thanks to CST and to Astellas Pharmaceuticals for their support.
