Association of Medical Illustrators 2017 Austin, Texas

The Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI) 2017 Meeting was in Austin, Texas. It was my first time in Texas, and my first time at the AMI and it was such a fabulous, great first impression of other professionals in the industry.

I am pleased to announce that my illustration, Periodontitis, received an Award of Merit this year! I remember working really hard on this piece in November 2016 and was really honoured that my hard work was recognized. Thanks AMI! It was really great meeting a lot of new people, seeing the exciting work that's going on in our industry of medical illustration, and being inspired by the hard work and supportive community. I am really looking forward to visiting the AMI again in 2018!
